Please reach me at angela@myplanttherapist.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
A Plant Therapist is a person who helps others improve their knowledge, experience and confidence in growing anything their heart desires. A plant therapist focuses on the person first; cultivating their passion for plants, offering a listening ear, and guiding them to reach goals.
Plant Therapy is the practice of horticulture for the sole purpose of increasing joy acknowledged by the grower; often defined as a sense of calm, increased happiness and satisfaction as the skillset and experiences expand as well as euphoria when growing/plant challenges are overcome.
Design services include an initial consultation (focusing on your goals, level of interest in maintenance, general look and feel of the space) and site review. I then will create a design I feel best matches your space and lifestyle. I do not do the planting- this is a DIY garden.
I also provide education and gardener training. I can also help find a landscaper if need be.
That depends- are you brand new to plants and gardening or are you a seasoned gardener? Maybe somewhere in between? If you are new to gardening you may want to consider my one on one gardening education/training. I tailor the training to the gardener's goals. Many topics can be taught in an hour or two. A seasoned gardener may just need a video call if they have a question or two about a specific plant or garden challenge they are facing. Garden design is a wonderful choice for anyone who wants a garden makeover or dealing with a new yard ( a blank slate is a garden designer's dream!)
